_ [イベント] LL Night

席が端の方だったのと、shelarcyさんからグラフィックライブラリ周りのレクチャーを受けていたのとで、あんまりLL Night自体は聞いてなかったのですが、印象に残っているのをいくつか。

* Perlを記号なしでプログラムするというのは衝撃でした。文と文を繋ぐセミコロンをまさかxorで代用するとは…。隙を見てRubyでも試してみますが、試してみるだけになるかも。

* Rabbit。あんなにムダ機能がたくさんあるとは知りませんでした。Rabrick（綴あっているかな？）というRabbitと通信するサーバが有って、Rabrickを叩くとプレゼン中のRabbitが反応すると。面白いです。実際に作者さんとも話をしたのですが、結論としてはuim-rabbitでも作るかと(笑)。あー、なんだかuimはニッチなニーズばかり突っついているような気がしてきました。

あれ、他何したっけ。あ、抽選に当たって本頂きました。古典的ですけど「Unixという考え方」です。

予定通り遅刻して到着。やっぱり東京は遠いよー。

なんだか真面目な話が多かったので、開発してました。笑う所は笑って。

それにしてもRubyの人のプレゼン手法はなんだか似ているなぁ。早口なところとか。これはプレゼン資料が高橋メソッド的だから、こうなっちゃうのかな？あとRuby Loveな雰囲気が出ているのと、最後に重要なのは、みな笑いのセンスに溢れていることですな。見習いたいものです。

Unix Userな方とC Magazineな方とお話できたのが楽しかったです。若僧の分際で、色々ダメだし＆お願いしてしまいました。すいません。
